At Affinity Counseling Center we are always looking for exceptional individuals to join our team of highly qualified and dedicated clinicians. All positions are contract positions, and offer a lot of flexibility. Each clinician is able to set their own schedule and determine how many clients they are comfortable with managing. Each clinician should be able to effectively manage their caseload, schedule sessions weekly (or as needed), and be a positive team player. Medicaid experience is a plus. Board approved supervision is provided at no cost to the clinician.
Counseling (Therapist) Position
- Licensed individuals (both associate and/or fully licensed)
- Experience working with children and adolescents is a plus
- Provide counseling services for a variety of counseling needs for children and adolescents
- Have a therapist heart for children and families
Nursing Position
- LPN or RN with experience working with children and adolescents
- Mental health experience a plus
- Provide intial nursing assessments
- Provide ongoing nursing support for clients
- Assist psychiatrist with mental health and pharmachology education
- Provide general health education for clients and families
Internship
- Obtain clinical practicum or internship hours through direct client care
- Participate in team meetings and supervision
- Gain valuable experience working with a team of qualified clinicians, addressing a variety of counseling needs
- Learn practical clinical interventions, working within a medicaid framework
