Child and Adolescent Core Services
Affinity Counseling Center, LLC is a Child and Adolescent Medicaid approved Core Provider who provides a variety of mental health services for children and adolescents up to the age of 21 if the child is still in school. In addition, counseling services are available for those with Peachstate/Cenpatico health insurance.
Services include: comprehensive behavioral health assessment, psychiatric evaluation, crisis intervention, medication management, nursing assessment and health services, individual counseling and skills training, family counseli
ng and skills training, group therapy, community resource assistance, PRTF/CBAY referrals, psychological assessment referrals, and Community Transition Services (brief discharge planning services offered for children and adolescents who are transitioning out of residential care, hospitals, and detention centers).
Services are provided in convenient locations such as in the home, at school, in the community, or in the office. All psychiatric and nursing services are provided in the office, which is easily accessed by public transportation. Services are available in the following counties:

- Clayton
- Cobb
- DeKalb
- Forsyth
- Fulton
- Gwinnett
- Hall
- Rockdale
- Walton
Spanish speaking services are currently available in some counties.
