Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) helps employees and their family members resolve personal or work-related problems. The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides a confidential place to talk about the issues that are affecting you, your family, or the workplace. Employee Assistance (EA) professionals are qualified to provide individual assessment and consultation. They will assist with short-term problem solving and/or may either provide referrals to resources that will best meet your needs, or they can continue with counseling services which are often covered by your insurance. Sessions are free to employees, and the number of sessions provided by the employer typically ranges from 2-6 sessions.
Check with your employer for further information about this free program.
